I started playing the guitar at 12. I was immediately smitten by the instrument and started practicing, quite randomly I might add, for hours each day. After about a year I had gained a bit of an education on the ins and outs of the instrument, had refined my practice regimen and started seeing real improvement. Chomping down instructional videos by my heroes day in and day out, I joined my first band at 15 and became a professional musician at the ripe old age of 19. |
I started learning about recording by using a 4 track Tascam tape machine and input notes in an early midi program that allowed only 4 tracks of game console quality sound... Not quite Trident and Studer quality, but that was great at the time.
After creating and producing hundreds of tracks for my students, writing, recording and producing songs for artists for years, and teaching thousands for the last 30 years through videos, lessons and programs, my goals are now to create my own musical adventures and universe and share them with you.
